What we store

Your email address (for signing in), and the data you create in the app: gear items, categories, trips, packing lists, and any photos you attach to items. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address from Google, nothing else.

Where it lives

All data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) on servers in the European Union. Item photos are stored at unguessable addresses; anyone with a photo's exact address can view it, which is what makes shared lists work.

Shared trips

A trip is private until you create a share link for it. Anyone with that link can view that trip's packing list (item names, weights, and photos). You can stop sharing at any time, which disables the link immediately.

Ads & analytics

No ads, no selling data, no cross-site tracking. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't identify you personally. Signing in or creating an account runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check to keep bots out, which shares your connection with Cloudflare for that purpose; it doesn't track you across other sites. Display preferences (like metric vs. imperial, light or dark mode) are stored only on your own device.

Donations

Donations happen entirely on a third-party platform (the “buy me a coffee” link). UL Rucker never sees or stores your payment details.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete account removes your account and everything in it (items, trips, and photos) immediately and permanently. You can also email us and we'll do it for you.
